Are Electronic cat feeders a good idea or not? Yes indeed according to this article. It tells how cats have an internal clock and like to eat at certain times. I manually feed my cats, and try my best to keep food in their bowls at all times. But being a mere human, I often slip up. The author of the article says that causes stress in cats. Read the article to see how many benefits there are to electronic cat feeders and decide if that's an answer for you.

This nice little story struck me because I have a cat named Sylvester myself, and I adopted him and his 3 siblings out of the wild when the mama cat saw fit to bring her kittens to my house. But I digress, this is the story of a man that lost his cat due to death and wanted to adopt another older cat. It's not too clear, but evidently, he went to a woman who takes in stray cats and finds them homes. So god bless her and those that adopt these cats.
"His wife had passed away and the cat soon followed. He thinks he died from a broken heart. We exchanged phone numbers and the next day he was here …www.feralcatbehavior.com/2697/sylvester-gets-adopted.html" http://www.feralcatbehavior.com/2697/sylvester-gets-adopted.html
I hope you liked this sweet little story of a cat named Sylvester and the lady that saved him and the gentleman that adopted him. If you liked it please share and by all means, leave a comment.
Here IS A Video Of Black And White Cats Similar To Sylvester
You often hear stories of dogs traveling miles to get back home when they are lost. This story is about a black cat that decides to go home after being given to an animal shelter.
"BEDFORD, N.H. (AP) — Animal rescue league officials say they don't know how a black cat walked about 6 miles in three days to find his way back home in New Hampshire. Wollie the cat has been reunited with Barbara Oliphant. She began caring for the …" http://www.care2.com/causes/black-cat-travels-6-miles-to-reunite-with-caretaker.html
I love a happy ending and this story had that don'tcha think? I couldn't find any videos of a cat being lost and going home, so for your entertainment, I'll just show you one of a black cat. They aren't really unlucky you know.
Two teenage monsters were spotted about 3 weeks ago
drowning two kittens. A neighbor heard them and peered over a fence
and saw the horrible scene. She the called police.
When one of the boys' father was asked about it he was very
callous and said something like 'What's the big deal, thousands
of cats are euthanized every day' And I paraphrase but that was
the import of what he said, if not the exact words. So it's not
much wonder, why one of the boys anyway, cared so little about
the kittens lives.
The problem with such crimes against animals is that the punishment
is just not severe enough. Case in point, Michael Vic, the dog killer.
I can't watch the NFL to this day, since they let him back into the league.
But I digress. Back to the boys who were sentenced today. They got 30
days and 20 days credited for time served. They will be on probation
and do some community service, but it's not nearly enough.
This monstrous crime was committed right here in Las Vegas.
Take care of your pets, as there are more monsters out there.
The video will serve to remind just how wonderful and cute kittens
are and I always am at a loss as to how anyone could want to harm them.

This article hits home with me because I live in Las Vegas where it gets really hot. I have a new dog and i'm having a terrible time getting him acclimated to the cats. I can't even get him acclimated to me as he's bitten me several times. Anyway, that means the cat has to stay in the living room and side bedrooms and we keep the dog in the bedroom. But, I'm trying to get by with a portable air conditioner in the bedroom and fans in the living room, because I can't afford to replace the Central Air which has died. So my cats getting overheated is a big concern.
"Luckily, I was home, found him on our lawn panting heavily with a raspberry-red tongue and immediately recognized and treated his life-threatening symptoms, which for the record in a cat are: bright red gums and … How Hot Yoga Can Benefit Your Health …Care2.com" http://www.care2.com/greenliving/what-to-do-when-your-cat-is-overheated.html
