Cats Hate Water: Myth Or Fact?

Most cats do hate water, at least that's been my experience. I know that my three cats don't like water at all. But to say all cats hate water is just going too far as this article proves.

Do All Cats Hate Water?

"Common knowledge holds that cats hate water: They hate baths, hate swimming — some misinformed people even spray water as a behavior deterrent for cats. But beyond asking why cats hate water, let's find out whether this is myth or fact. In truth, many …CatChannel.com"

Ever Try To Give A Cat A Pill?

Ever Try To Give A Cat A Pill?

Giving a pet a tablet can easily be a headache. No feline desires
something shoved down his throat,
and he will certainly arguing you tooth and nail to avoid it.
Although a lot of felines are small in
measurements, you would certainly be rather amazed with how much
power they in fact have. There are means that
you may get your pet to take his pills, which we will deal with
right now.

The easiest means to provide a pet pill is to pulverize the tablet
in to a powdery type by placing it between
2 spoons. Once the tablet is powder, mix it in with some soaked cat
food. Cats that are use to consuming dry
feline food will certainly view the soaked meals and think of it as
a gift. They will normally consume it with
no problem, ignorant that they just took their medicine. What they
don't know will actually help them.

If the medication occurs to be in capsule sort, all you have to do is
tear the capsule aside then spray the
medication on some wet food and serve it to your animal.
If you still have trouble giving your cat medicine in tablet form you
 can ask
your vet about a small animal piller. These devices can be very effective.

When you obtain your device, your vet ought to reveal you the best ways to
use it. The hardest facet of using
the weapon is getting your cat to open his mouth. The gun will definitely
more or less eject the tablet in the
feline's mouth, as well as down his throat. You'll have to hold your guy
tight, to be sure that he does not
squirm away from you. The moment you have his mouth open, you'll have to
squeeze the trigger and pull the piller
away rapidly. After the pill has actually been inserted, be sure to you
give your pet a treat..

If you aren't comfy making use of the piller device, you can easily
consistently attempt giving your pet his
pills by hand. To do it this way, you'll have to hold your cat still,
as well as open his mouth with your hand.
Once you have his mouth open, you must try for the back of his throat
as well as throw the tablet in.
You ought to close his mouth with your hand as well as hold it shut
for a couple of moments. This means, your
feline will eat the pill if he hasn't actually swallowed it.

If you cannot get any of the above techniques to work, you may always
go to a regional drug store and ask

them to a make flavored gel or liquid using your kittens prescription.
You need to use this as a last resort
though, as it may usually tend to be expensive.

Personally,I've always had succes by just crumbling the pill
and mixing it with some moist cat food.

It’s $2.99 and can be read on a Nook Device or just about any device. Just go here: If link not live just copy/paste it into your browser. Thanks.

Do You Know Why Cats Purr?

Do you know why cats purr? I sure didn't before I read this article. I kind of always just figured they purred when they were happy or contented. You know, things are going fine, and the purr happened kind of naturally. It kind of threw me for a loop when the writer of the article said she heard her cat purr as it passed away. I was stunned.

Why Do Cats Purr?

"Sometimes these purrs are accompanied by kneading, a behavior which goes back to when they were kittens, safe and protected by their mom, as they nursed. Another theory about purring is that cats improve their muscle tone while they purr. Dr. Leslie …CatChannel.com"

So purring is another kind of communication that cats do. Fascinating. They can't talk so nature has given them a variety of ways to communicate, with each other and with us, the humans. For all we know, we may be their pets. If you'va a mind to, please share with friends and by all means leave a comment. I want to hear from you.
